Position Overview

At Buff City Soap a Regional Manager is responsible for multiple stores in the metro area and their overall performance. This role ensures the execution of company standards and sales maximization within their region by providing an exceptional shopping experience for the customer, managing the store execution in accordance with the company's visual and operational standards, driving the overall recruitment, training, and development of talent and the performance managing their region. The role also ensures appropriate regional controls for all company standards in all stores, i.e. management leadership, team and company culture, payroll hours, cash handling, inventory & production planning, waste management, FDA compliance, cleanliness, organization, and overall environment. Additionally, this role ensures customer conversion and retention, e-commerce fulfillment and revenue goals are achieved through sound operational execution.

Key responsibilities:

  • Monitor the day-to-day operations and performance of each store in the assigned region
  • Supervise store managers within a designated territory; hold bi-weekly update meetings for store managers or a similar cadence
  • Keep the COO informed through consistent communication and action planning
  • Aid in the ongoing improvement of processes and policies in support of Buff City Soap’s mission
  • Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed at the store level
  • Review financial information and adjust operational budgets to promote profitability
  • Lead or complete special projects as assigned (i.e., soap database updates, training, etc.)

  • Proven ability to connect with peers and direct reports

Contributions:

  • Coordinate with the factory manager to develop production plans and determine workflow
  • Maintain all products at par inventory levels based on the production spreadsheet
  • Ensure final products meet quality standards and are made timely
  • Maintain a safe and clean production area by following specific daily cleaning checklists
  • Fill all franchisee and e-commerce orders
  • Remain knowledgeable on all products
  • Assist with special projects as assigned

Qualifications:

· 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

· Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
